Coming up this weekend is the “5 Year Anniverary Show” at Thinkspace Gallery in LA.
We made a new piece for the show that we titled “Luck In Odd Numbers”
When we first started working on this painting we had just said goodbye to all our family and friends who came over to LA from Australia for our wedding!!
It was a strange time..because we where so sad to see everyone leave..but at the same time happy to be here living in LA?
We made this painting about how we felt at the time.
Part of us was so happy to be here in LA..we are very lucky to have a great life here, with a lot of amazing friends and such a great gallery like Thinkspace to be working with!
Andrew, Shawn and LC have been so amazing to us since we first moved here a year and a half ago, and we couldn’t be happier!
All our new friends in this city really makes it worth the heartache of being away from all our loved ones in Melbourne…but it still is hard at times…
